Flooded
Flooded lead-acid batteries contain an electrolyte that has free movement inside the battery case. When charged, the battery acid and lead plates react to store electricity.
Lead Acid batteries must be kept upright to prevent leakage out of the caps on top of the battery.
AGM
AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) is an advanced lead-acid battery that provides superior power to support the higher electrical demands of today’s application.
AGM batteries are extremely resistant to vibration, are totally sealed, nonspillable and maintenance-free.
Carbon Gel
Gel batteries use silica (or sand) to turn the acid inside the battery into a thick liquid. Because of this Gel’s are also spill-proof. However the gel can still be fragile, and can easily be burned if used in high amperage situations.
Lithium
Lithium-ion battery based green power solution was first introduced in 2009.
